It was stated numerous times by several people who attended our last conference, that meetings seemed providential rather than just a good way to spend money and time.  The high percentage of international attendees in both years was fascinating to us founders.  

We agree that our time together is God directed. We think it is for the purpose of  identifying those people  whom He  trusts and has chosen  to  share this good news to their regions of the world.  It is just common sense and fact  that  local people know their community and surrounding areas. Likewise, it is impossible for the few of us to personally interact with the whole world.  Our broken world needs this healing and help!  In the turbulent days to come, our world, as we know it, will be even more shattered. 

In recognition of God’s selection, we want to invite you to be your area’s

International Association of Prayer Counselor’s Regional Representative.   

At this point, the familiar overwhelming… too much to do now syndrome may be trying to activate in your mind and emotions.  We realize that all of us are already busy people.  We are called to periodically re-evaluate what we are doing with our lives and how we prioritize our time. We are asking Holy Spirit to strengthen you to assimilate this message. 

Interaction with people in your area can  make this organization’s kind of networking, continuing education, and support available to many.  We have prepared a complete packet with step by step instructions to make  representative activities simple and fluid. These even  includes a shopping list for refreshments [how detailed is that?]  to help with planning event  activities.  

We share God’s great confidence in you to be this lighthouse of healing for your region.  We pray that you will also be filled with our passion and joy over these prospects.

                                                               
 

What does being a representative mean?

• You are the organization with “skin on” for your region 
• Once  a  year, we would ask that you write a summary of the  activities in your region for our organization to publish as a “special feature” in  communications. 
• Once a year, we would ask that you write an  article of praise for what Jesus Christ is doing in your personal ministry work. This would  include what you have learned from Him and those you have counseled. IOAPC would “spotlight” this encouragement in its communications.
• Once a year, you  host  an Introduction to IAOPC Invitational Meeting to increase the awareness of the benefits of this organization for prayer counselors in your region.

•  
  1. One month or less later, you would host a follow-up meeting for those who had attended the Introduction to IAOPC Invitational Meeting for determining future needs and possibilities.
  2. You are encouraged to host as many more Introduction to IAOPC Invitational Meetings in your region as you desire. It is totally up to you… one or a hundred!

• You are encouraged to sponsor IAOPC Events in your area if you desire to do so.

• 1. This could be a facilitated DVD teaching event.
  2. This could be a live seminar featuring our speakers.
  3. This could be a gathering of members to do peer review and/or  case presentation led by our speakers.

 

• You would encourage others to join IAOPC and attend its activities.
• You would be provided with free teaching materials for events by IAOPC.
• Your regional event would be advertised on  the IAOPC website.

  1. This helps others to refer people they know to your event.
  2. This alerts members to pray for the events.

 

• You would be provided with free brochures by IAOPC.
• You would be  able to attend  IAOPC events for greatly reduced rates or gifted  registration in some situations.
• An official certificate of representation will be sent to you for  public display once you confirm acceptance of this position.
• We are sure that as God blesses IAOPC’s  members’ activities, that more opportunities and benefits will become available. These are the basics now.
